Makenna is now 7 months going on 5 years. Seriously, this child wishes she could walk like a big girl, talk like a big girl, and eat big girl food - but we're not ready for her to be a big girl yet, mostly because our house isn't baby proofed, haha! This month Makenna weighed in at 16 lb 13 oz! The past month was again filled with a lot of firsts, including tummy sleeping, swimming, sitting up unassisted, sitting in the cart at Walmart, tasting lots of new foods, and celebrating her first Thanksgiving. Makenna loves scooting around on her belly - she can turn in a full circle, as well as scoot backwards so we think she'll be crawling by Christmas! She is getting used to solid foods and so far prefers carrots to any other fruit or vegetable. She is still Miss Independent and is very proud when she does something by herself! We can't believe our little girl is getting so big!
