The morning after the daredevil pictures were taken, Makenna woke up with the dreaded fever (103+). Since she was under the age of 2, they said to bring her into urgent care. They unofficially diagnosed her with H1N1 - we were told to bring her home and keep her comfortable with meds. We were luckier than most - the fever only lasted 3 days. We quickly discovered that caring for a sick child is the non-fun part of parenting. Thank goodness our happy little girl is back :)
